OIL FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the oil passing property and the recovery rate of oil and to sanitarily use over a long period by packing activated carbon in a case composed of a vessel and a cap, which are formed from chemical fiber and have the oil passing property. SOLUTION: An oil filter 10 for filtering and purifying food oil or the like after used is set into an oil purifier case of an oil purifier and is used at such a time of filtering the oil charged from the upper side of the oil purifier and recovering at the lower part of the oil purifier. The oil filter 10 is composed of the case 11 and the activated carbon housed in the inside and the case 11 is constituted of the vessel 12 and the cap 21. The vessel 12 and the cap 21 are formed from the chemical fiber, which includes regenerated fiber, semisynthetic fiber, synthetic fiber and the like. Rayon and cupra as the regenerated fiber, a cellulose base fiber and a protein base fiber as the semisynthetic fiber and a polyamide base fiber or the like as the synthetic fiber are mentioned and one or a mixture of a plurality of chemical fibers is used as the fiber for vessel 12 and the cap 21.
