MACHINE FOR FORMING LEVEE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for forming levee, attached to the rear portion of a travel frame, equipped with a pre-treating member and a levee-arranging member which are driven by a power from the travel frame, wherein the angular portions of the polygonal conical drum portion of the levee-arranging member are improved. SOLUTION: This machine for forming a levee is attached to the rear portion of a travel frame, and is provided with a pre-treating member 14 which receives a power from the travel frame and tills a part of an original levee and a field to form a levee-like bank, and with a drum-like levee-arranging member 18 for rotating the tilled soil and simultaneously forming the levee. Therein, (1) the polygonal conical drum 11 portion of the levee-arranging member 10 is formed by bending a metal plate so that the steps of the angular portions 11b are uniform. (2) The steps of the angular portions of the polygonal drum 11 portions of the levee-arranging member 10 are formed in circular arc-like shapes, thereby reducing the rotation reaction force of the polygonal conical drum 11, reducing vibrations and preventing the adhesion and kicking-out of soil.
