Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple photographic element which does not require formation of many different emulsions by treating at least one of at least two emulsions having the same grains with speed reducing specified compounds. SOLUTION: This photographic element contains at least two photographic emulsion, having the same grains and at least one of the emulsion, is treated with speed reducing compounds of the formula (I) Z1-X1O2S-M1 (I) and the formula (II) Z2-X2O2-M2. In the formulae I and II, X1 is sulfur, X2 is sulfur or selenium, M1 and M2 are each selected from the group consisting of metal ions and a group of formula III and Z1 and Z2 are each optionally substituted 1-18C alkyl or the like. In the formula III, R1-R4 are each H or 1-3C alkyl.
