Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle variable mechanism and improve the degree of freedom of spray, to adapt this nozzle for a pressure storage type fuel injection system employing a common rail, and to prevent leakage of fuel through a control valve part for a needle valve to effect lift control of a needle valve to perform opening and closing operation of the nozzle. SOLUTION: It is noticed that a control valve 24 for a needle valve (a solenoid valve for a needle valve) is attached to the side of this nozzle and thus seal is practicable between a drive shaft 27 to drive a rotary valve 28 and its actuator 26. This nozzle comprises a hydraulic command piston 18 to energize a needle valve 5 in a valve closing direction; and a control valve 24 for a needle valve to control the back pressure of the hydraulic command piston 18. The control valve 24 for a needle valve is arranged in a position where the valve does not cross the drive shaft 27.
