Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing timing controller for enhancing the volumetric efficiency of an internal combustion engine in its high revolving speed area, surely preventing both striking noise caused by vanes at the start of the engine and defective start of the engine. SOLUTION: A vane 60 is accommodated in a hollow part 63 of a projected piece 62, which extends to the inside of a recessed part 32 of a housing 30 and which is formed in a second rotor 61 interposed rotatably to each other between a first rotor 20 and the housing 30. When the second rotor 61 is at the latest angle position relative to the housing 30, the relative phase between the second rotor 61 and the housing 30 is regulated by a look pin 90. When the vane 60 is at the most advanced position whithin the hollow part 63, the relative phase between the first rotor 20 and the second rotor 61 is regulated by a ratchet pin 80. Thus, the relative phase between the first rotor 20 and the housing 30 at this time becomes the same relative phase as that in a valve opening/closing timing enabling the internal combustion engine to start. |
