Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a closed-cell expanded shrinkable form high in heat resistance in particular, suppressed in elasticity decline after left to stand under a compressed condition, and having moderate delayed shape restorability, and to provide a method for producing such a form. SOLUTION: This closed-cell expanded shrinkable form is such one that a thermoplastic expanded sheet 10-100 vol.% in closed cell content is left to stand for a week with its thickness held at a given level under heating at 50 deg.C, released from the given thickness-holding state in an atmosphere at 23 deg.C and then allowed to stand; then, the thickness of the sheet is expanded by a factor of 1.7 or greater within 25 days.
