Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a coil, which prevents the arranging state of the conductors of a formed coil from being collapsed and can securely fix the end part of the conductor forming the coil even if the conductor is thick. SOLUTION: Insulators 24 are arranged on both ends of a core segment 20 obtained by dividing the core of a stator. Conductors 16 are wound to the core segment 20 and the insulators 24. The end parts 28 of the conductor extend in the final winding direction of the coil. The end parts 28 of the conductor are sandwiched by the sandwiching pieces of a conductor end part holding member 18, which are installed by straddling a coil end 22, and is fixed. The sandwiching pieces 30 sandwich the end parts 28 of the conductor and it is deformed. Thus, it can rigidly be held. Since the end parts 28 of the conductor are held in a position along the final winding direction of the coil, the arranging state of the conductor 16 is prevented from collapsing. Then, the conductor 16 is securely held by deforming the end part 28 of the conductor.
