Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device operating an application unit without changing the input/output interface by means of the various input/output means of a user interface in an information and/or communication system. SOLUTION: An interface device 10 is formed of an interface circuit 14 and a storage device 15. An interface circuit 14 processes input/output information which is to be transmitted in accordance with system data accumulated in a storage device 15 as the functions of input/output means 12 and 13 that can be used by the aid of input/output formats and structure accumulated in the storage device 15. The information is outputted to an application unit 11 and/or the input/output means 12 and 13 which can be used.
