COMMUNICATION CABLE TERMINAL PLUG AND CONDUCTOR COLLECTING THREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a excellent modular plug whose assembling time is shortened and electric characteristic almost does not change from plug to plug, to realize a linear interface between a conductor inside cable and a plug terminal and to be able to make a standard circular cable an end terminal. SOLUTION: A housing 12 of a plug 11 is provided with a hollow part for housing a conductor collecting thread 13. Preferably, the housing 12 and the thread 13 are formed of suitable dielectric materials. The terminal of a latch arm 16 of a cap member 14 is engaged with the bottom part of a slot 17 in the thread 13. The thread 13 is a long and thin member having a long axis, and it is provided with the planar bottom surface part and first and second side walls.
