METHOD FOR ALLOCATING INPUT-OUTPUT DEVICE NUMBER OF SEQUENCE PROGRAM FOR PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER, AND PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT FOR PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a sequence program without being aware of the real device configuration of a PC to make obtainable excellent flexibility by deciding the real device configuration by combining the temporary device configuration of each sequence program in the stage of combining plural sequence programs and automatically allocating an input-output device number fitting it. SOLUTION: The configuration of an input-output unit to be used is defined as a temporary device configuration in every sequence program to be prepared by undergoing partition, an individual unit label is set to an input-output unit in the temporary device configuration and a device label is set to every input- output device of every input-output unit. The device configuration for every sequence program is determined in the stage of combining plural sequence programs prepared by using the unit label and the device label set in the temporary device configuration. Then, processing that automatically allocates an input-output device number fitting a real device configuration to the sequence program is executed.
