METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DEPOSITING SCINTILLATOR MATERIAL ON DETECTOR ARRAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for depositing a scintillation material on a radiation detector array. SOLUTION: A device for aligning when depositing a scintillation material includes a cover mask assembly 66 that is formed so that it can be reliably arranged on a detector array 55 and a lower pallet assembly 80 to appropriately aligning a mask for the detector array so that an active part 54 of the detector array can be covered with the scintillation material without gluing the scintillation material onto an inactive part 56 of the detector array. An adhesive rim 58 is arranged around the active part of the detector array, and the dimensions are determined to prevent the scintillation material from entering an area other than the active region to be covered by performing a desired, accurate alignment of the mask for the detector array and forming a sealing means along with a substrate 62 of the detector array and the pallet assembly.
