Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and apparatus capable of producing a reduced iron without using a reformer. SOLUTION: A fluidized bed furnace is composed of two sets of a fluidized bed furnace 1 and a second fluidized bed furnace 2. A first circulating course 7 is formed from the first fluidized bed furnace 1 again to the first fluidized bed furnace 1 through a gas heater 6, the first fluidized bed furnace is connected to the second fluidized bed furnace 2 through a connecting path 3, and a second circulating coarse 15 is formed from the second fluidized bed furnace 2 again to the second fluidized bed furnace 2 through a gas heater 14. A mixing combustion device 9 for obtaining carbon monoxide and hydrogen by burning hydrocarbon-containing gas with oxygen-containing gas, is provided. A natural gas supplying path 10 and an oxygen gas supplying path 11 are connected with the mixing combustion device 9 and the one end of a supplying path 17 for supplying the carbon monoxide and the hydrogen is connected to the mixing combustion device 9 and the other end of the supplying path 17 is connected to the first circulating route 7. The other end of a supplying path 18 branched from the supplying path 17 is connected to the second circulating course 15 and a natural gas supplying path 19 is connected to the second circulating route 15.
