SOLUTION: A sheet material introducing device to a tenter running a clip 2 which holds the width-directional end part of a sheet material between a fixing part and a movable part, in both width-directional ends of the sheet material and leading the fed sheet material to a holding start position 14 of the clip 2 is provided with a presser means 15 pressurizing the width-directional end of the sheet material against the fixing part side of the clip 2 by air blow.
