SEEDLING TRANSPLANTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soil collapse in transplanting a seedling by previously making recessed parts at proper longitudinal intervals on the top of a ridge. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter comprises a self-propelled traveling machine body striding a ridge 7 by right and left traveling wheels equipped with a transplanting mechanism 30 composed of a transplanting cup 32 for holding a pot seedling N and transplanting it in the ridge. While the transplanting cup 32 receives the pot seedling N from a seedling feeder by a transfer mechanism at a rise stop position, a soil drawing body 121 is retained at a lowering position through a link mechanism with a driven roller 126 to be slidably brought into contact with an outer peripheral cam surface of a cam plate 122 attached to a revolving shaft 36, soil on the top of the ridge 7 is drawn only in an interval of longitudinal length L1 to form a recessed part. The soil drawing body 121 is raised and the transplanting cup 32 is dropped to the recessed part to transplant the seedling.
