TABLE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND ROUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table retrieval system by which a table retrieving processing in a routing processing is executed at high speed and to provide a router provided with the system. SOLUTION: Plural retrieving tables retrieved by a destination address are arranged, a management table for storing and managing retrieval order information of plural retrieving tables, which is stipulated by group unit in accordance with previously decided groups, is disposed and also a means for obtaining retrieval order information concerning the plural retrieved tables corresponding to the groups from group information, which is designated by a group identifying a flag added to a reception packet by retrieving the management table and for executing retrieving from the plural retrieving tables on the destination address extracted from the reception packet in accordance with retrieval order information.
