Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphic fluorescent display tube for low voltage driving with a small number of anode drive terminals, and a drive method thereof. SOLUTION: Among anodes 11-mn placed in a matrix, anodes 12-m2, 14-m4, 1(n-1)-m(n-1) are arranged corresponding to control electrodes G0-Gn in a mesh, anodes 11-m1, 13-m3, 1n-mn are arranged corresponding to a plurality of adjacent control electrodes G0-Gn. At first the control electrode G0-Gn are driven sequentially, and accordingly anodes 12-m2, 14-m4, 1(n-1)-m(n-1) are driven, then adjacent control electrodes G0-Gn are driven two by two sequentially, and anodes 11-m1, 13-m3, 1n-mn are driven.
