Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of firmly and efficiently executing a reaction force receiving member of a tunnel excavator on the tunnel excavating wall surface. SOLUTION: Ring-shaped packing 7 is installed on the outside surface of a reaction force receiving member boring lock bolt driving through holes 6a, 6b so as to surround the opening ends of the through holes 6a, 6b, and after laying the reaction force receiving member 4 on the tunnel excavating wall surface 3 through this packing 7, an inserting hole 8 of a lock bolt 5 is bored in peripheral base rock of the tunnel excavating wall surface 3 through the lock bolt driving through holes 6a, 6b, and cutting chips generated at that time are removed through the through holes 6a, 6b from a central hole of the packing 7 to then parallelly perform work for sticking the reaction force receiving member 4 to the tunnel excavating wall surface 3 by filling a backfilling material 9 in a void between the cutting chip nonexistent tunnel excavating wall surface 3 and the reaction force receiving member 4 and inserting/fixing work of the lock bolt 5 to the inserting hole 8.
