Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polyvinyl chloride having good fish eye property wherein polymer deposit is prevented by choosing support plates having a specific shape for heat exchange tubes of a reflux condenser. SOLUTION: This is a method for polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer or a mixture with a different monomer by aq. suspension polymerization using a polymerizer equipped with a reflux condenser, the reflux condenser being directly connected to the polymerizer and having heat exchange tubes 1 and tube support plates, wherein the top ends of the heat exchange tubes 1 do not have parts protruding over the external surfaces of the upper support plates 2 for the heat exchange tubes.
