Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sugar-coated tablets each with a protective coating film provided directly on an inner core tablet and composed of a water-soluble polymer and a water-soluble saccharide so as to secure the mechanical strength of the final tablets and shorten the time of disintegration thereof while preventing water from penetration into the inner core tablets. SOLUTION: The sugar-coated tablets are so designed as to make up a protective coating film provided directly on (A) each of inner core tablets from (B) a water-soluble polymer, pref. hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose or the like and (C) a water-soluble saccharide pref. 0.3-3 g/g in solubility to water at 25 deg.C (pref. sucrose or the like), wherein the weight ratio B/C is pref. (1:0.1) to (1:3), the amount of the protective film coated is pref. 1-15 wt.% based on the weight of the component A, and the component A comprises e.g. ibuprofen and hydroxypropyl cellulose.
