MANUFACTURE OF INK-JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacture for ink-jet heads whereby costs of an actuator substrate can be reduced and a plurality of actuator substrates can be processed efficiently. SOLUTION: A conductive layer is formed to all faces of an actuator substrate 2. The conductive layer is partly removed, and electrodes 5B are formed in jet channels 12 and electrodes 5A are formed in dummy channels 11. The conductive layer of a rear end face 2B of the actuator substrate 2 is partly removed to be separated from the electrodes 5B and connected to all electrodes 5A. A conductive pattern is thus formed. The rear end face 2B of the actuator substrate 2 is coated with an insulating plate 17. Openings 17A are formed to parts of the plate 17 corresponding to the jet channels 12.
