METHOD FOR LAYING CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for laying a cable that radically enables it to improve the labor efficiency by solving the problem of workability arising from the installation of suspenders, including conventional cable hangers. SOLUTION: Expandable chain coils 6 of a synthetic resin are mounted externally over one end of a messenger wire 1 provided between poles. Noncombustible cable protective rings 7 are installed on the chain coils 6 at appropriate intervals and suspended, in such a way as to be slidable on the messenger wire 1. Then, the pole side end part of the chain coils 6 is fixed to the messenger wire 1 or the like. A cable 2 is inserted from the fixed side end part of the chain coils 6, and the end part of the cable 2 and the unfixed side end part of the chain coils 6 are hauled and transferred to the side of the other pole. The unfixed side end part is fixed to the messenger wire 1 or the like at the other pole side, and the end part of the cable 2 is extended to the side between neighboring poles. In this way, a series of these processes is repeated for every span between neighboring poles in sequence, up to the last span to lay the cable between all poles.
