Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmitting efficiency of the light emitted from a light source. SOLUTION: An operation button for a communication appliance equipped with a facial layer made of a transparent material and an illuminating layer 2 made of a translucent material to be laid on the facial layer 1 is to lead the light emitted from a light source on a printed board 3 to the facial layer 1 via the illuminating layer 2 and is constructed in an at least three-layer structure in which the illuminating layer 2 pinched by the facial layer 1 and a photo- guide layer 5, is installed consisting of a transparent member for increasing the transmitting efficiency of the light emitted from the light source.
