RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent noises by the pulsation of a suction valve in a low loading condition. SOLUTION: A suction valve has a suction valve main body 13, and a pair of reed pieces 14 and 14 formed from about the center of the suction valve main body 13, in the direction almost orthogonal to the suction valve main body 13. At the top part of the cylinder 17 of a cylinder block 12, a pair of reed piece receivers 19 and 19 cutting formed in a plane form corresponding to the plane form of the tips of the reed pieces 14 and 14 are provided. And when the suction valve is elastic deformed in the opening direction of the suction hole, by the movement of a piston in the direction of the bottom dead center, the front end 16 of the suction valve main body 13 is abutted to the valve receiver 18 of the cylinder 17, after the displacement of the reed pieces 14 is regulated by the reed piece receivers 19 and 19 of the cylinder 17.
