Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording ink which gives an image having high light resistance and hardly causes problems such as clogging or the like by compounding as main components a water-dispersible or water-soluble coloring agent, water and a water-soluble organic solvent and further incorporating a water-soluble resin composed of an ultraviolet-absorbing agent monomer bearing a vinyl group and/or a photostabilizer monomer as copolymerizable components. SOLUTION: A water-soluble resin comprises preferably 1-20 wt.%, based on the water-soluble resin, of at least one ultraviolet-absorbing agent monomer bearing a vinyl group represented by formulae I-IV and/or a photostabilizer monomer bearing a vinyl group represented by formula V. The average mol.wt. of the ultraviolet absorbing agent and/or the photostabilizer is preferably 3,000-50,000. Preferably, the water-soluble resin is a particle having a particle size of not larger than 150 nm, has an acid value of not more than 7 and a minimum film forming temperature of not higher than 25 deg.C and is a dispersant for a pigment. In the formulae, R1 is (CH2)n; (n) is 1-3; and R2 is H, CH3 or C3H7. |
