TRAIN DETECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train detecting device which can surely detect a failure or a malfunction of the device itself. SOLUTION: This device generates a signal pattern which can not be generated at a failure of the device itself by arranging two kinds of frequency which are randomly set at different output periods. This device is provided with a signal generating part 9 which selects one of the signal patterns, an oscillation modulation part 6 which forms a signal waveform according to the selected signal pattern, an amplification part 7 which amplifies the formed signal waveform to transmit to a track circuit 1 as a train detecting signal, a transmitted signal examining part 10 which collates the transmitted train detecting signal with the selected signal pattern, and a received signal examining part 11 which collates a signal received at a receiver 8 from the track circuit 1 with the selected signal pattern.
