Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradient coil assembly for a magnetic resonance image formation system and the constitution method of the coil assembly. SOLUTION: This method for constituting this shield gradient coil assembly for the magnetic resonance image formation system is provided. A gradient coil structure body is provided with two sets of primary gradient coils 60 and 62 and a single set of a shield (screen) coil 64. The structure utilizes the gradient structure of two functions including the primary coil set of high efficiency for strengthening the performance of an ultra high speed MR sequence while minimizing an eddy current effect and dB/dt and is appropriate for an MR use including the primary coil set of low efficiency provided with a high quality gradient magnetic field appropriate for an image formation use having originally low dB/dt and eddy current level. Further, minimum inductance/energy algorithm supports the design of the two primary coils and one secondary gradient set.
