Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control method for an electric resistance type ash fusion furnace by a three-phase AC in which charged power quantity can be largely controlled while keeping balance of a current at each phase, and in which an impedance of an electrode is set at the optium value for operation. SOLUTION: In this power control method for an electric resistance type ash fusion furnace by a three-phase AC, an impedance and power at each electrode 2 are measured, the impedance of the electrode 2 is controlled by elevation of the electrode 2 (using an electrode elevation device 21), and power of the whole body is controlled by the tap changing of a furnace power transformer 1 (using a tap changing means 11).
