METHOD OF HANDLING SWITCH IN THE ACTIVE CONDITION WITH INDIRECT ACTIVATION WORK USING A HOT STICK AND TOOL FOR HOOKING OF SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of work to assure safe work by using a hooking tool for hooking a switch for replacement, and executing operation at the position isolated from an active line with an active line manipulating rod. SOLUTION: A nut of a fixing bolt K1 on a switch K is loosened for the specified length with a wrench provided at a hot stick. A holding piece 5 of the switch hooking tool is held with a hot stick, it is then brought on the switch K and the fixing bolt K1 is engaged with an elongated hole 1 of a horizontal long-length frame 2. Under the condition that the fixing bolt K1 engaged with the elongated hole 1 is then engaged with an exclusive nut held by the hot stick, the wrench fitted to the other hot stick is engaged and is then tightened. A bolt 61 of an expanding/compressing cylinder 6 is engaged with a wrench provided to the hot stick, the bolt 61 is rotated, an internal cylinder of the expanding/compressing cylinder 6 is extended and a pressing plate 62 of the expanding/compressing cylinder 6 is pushed toward the upper surface of switch K. As a result, safe work can be assured and working time can be reduced remarkably.
