Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and/or system for automatically equalizing a speaker. SOLUTION: First digital data that represent the permissible range of an object response curve of a sound level, with respect to a frequency of a loudspeaker and second digital data that depict the actual response curve of a sound level with respect to a frequency of a speaker are provided. The first digital data are compared with the second digital data to decide whether or not the actual response curve stays within the permissible range. When the actual response curve is not within the permissible range, a digital audio filter is generated repeatedly, the digital audio filter is applied to 2nd digital data to produce 3rd digital data with a compensation response curve. The frequency, the amplitude and the bandwidth of the digital audio filter are automatically optimized until the compensation response curve stays within the permissible range or number of the digital audio filters reaches a prescribed limit.
