Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protocol by which isochronous data transmission is realized on an IEEE1394 bus. SOLUTION: An initiator first reads a configuration of a ROM of a target and uses an asynchronous data transfer protocol to set up a connection between the initiator and the target. The data are transferred by using an isochronous data transfer protocol. In the case of the end, an end command/reply is exchanged by write to a common use memory space. Then an asynchronous data transfer protocol is used to terminate the connection.
