Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily decide a genuine product by utilizing the frequency characteristic of object material pasted to an authenticity discrimination object. SOLUTION: A detection material film 1 (condensed highly dielectric material or conductive highly dielectric material) is attached to the side surface of an authenticity discrimination object 2 such as OA equipment by pasting or painting. Also, an electrode for detection (positive phase electrode) 3 and a magnetic pole 3' are brought into contact or pseudo-contact with the film 1 and the electrode 3 is further is connected to a positive phase excitation terminal 5. In such a configuration, a signal is supplied through the electrode 3 that is brought into contact with the film 1 or is electromagnetically connected to the film 1. Then, a signal to be reflected at the prescribed position of a characteristic frequency of the film 1 is detected, and the authenticity of the signal (frequency to be reflected) to be reflected is decided as a material characteristic. Simple working such as pasting the film 1 on the prescribed position (side surface) of the authenticity decision object is performed in this way, and the authenticity discrimination of an authenticity object is performed by utilizing frequency-phase characteristics.
