COVER CAP FITTING STRUCTURE FOR FLOATING PIER MOORING PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover cap fitting structure for a floating pier mooring pile largely suppressing the dripping of droplets to the outer face of a pile main body. SOLUTION: The cylindrical lower section of a cover cap 2 is outwardly inserted to the upper end open section of a cylindrical pile main body 1. An annular cover section 4 is provided on the inner peripheral portion of the cover cap 2 slightly above the upper end position of the pile main body 1. The coupling between the upper end of the pile main body 1 and the lower section of the cover cap 2 is idle coupling having a large gap, the pile main body 1 and the cover cap 2 are integrated by a fixing means 3 with a steam escape passage K formed between them, and the cover section 4 is tapered downward from the outside to the inside.
