Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound emitting blue light, useful as a color- developing material for display element, developing blue color and giving an organic electroluminescent element having excellent light-emission efficiency. SOLUTION: The objective compound is expressed by formula I [Ar1 to Ar3 and Ar5 to Ar7 are each a chemical bond, a bivalent group originated from a (substituted)phenylene or a (substituted)naphthalene or the like; Ar4 is a bivalent group originated from (substituted)phenylene or a (substituted) biphenyl or the like; R1 to R6 are each H, an ethyleneoxyalkyl or the like; (l) and (k) are each 0 or 1; (m) is 10-200], e.g. the compound of formula II. The objective compound can be produced through Wittig reaction comprising the addition of a benzene solution of isophthaloyl dichloride of formula III to a mixture of benzene and AlCl3, the reaction of the components and the reaction of the product with 4-bromobenzyltriphenylphosphonium bromide of formula IV. |
