PRODUCTION OF ALKOXYSILANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing alkoxysilane simple and economical from the view point of a large-scale industry and capable of producing the alkoxysilane slightly containing acid chloride or essentially excluding any acid chloride. SOLUTION: This method comprises: reacting chlorsilane with alcohol in anhydrous phase and solventless phase; removing the involved hydrogen chloride from the resultant mixture; adding a stoichiometrically excessive amount of liquid or gaseous ammonia based on acid chloride; treating the resultant ammonia-containing mixture at 10 to 50 deg.C, if necessary, removing the obtained salts from the crude product; and obtaining the alkoxysilane from the product via distillation.
