COMPOSITION FOR CONTROLLING AGING OF DERMAL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for controlling the aging of dermal cells, e.g. cosmetic or the like for preventing the skin from aging, which can control the shortening of telomeres on the skin and prolong the life of dermal cells or enables the control or prevention of the aging of dermal cells by including an antioxidant in vivo and a medium permissible as a preparation for external use for the skin. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) an antioxidant [preferably vitamin C or its derivative (particularly provitamin C), vitamin E, β-carotin, glutathione and a low molecular weight of antioxidant in vivo with a molecular weight of 1200 or smaller] in vivo and (B) a medium (preferably a specific component or the like which is selected from unsaturated fatty acids, oils and fats, peroxides, squalene, surfactants, antiseptics, perfumes or the like and has no dermal cell aging facilitative adverse drug reaction) permissible as a preparation for external use for skin. In the case of vitamin C derivatives, the component A is added into the composition for controlling the aging of dermal cells in a proportion of 0.01-30.0 wt.%, preferably 0.1-10.0 wt.%.
