Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out easily a core remaining in a bit body of a diamond core bit by drilling. SOLUTION: The diamond core bit 1 comprises by attaching a diamond chip 4 to an opening end part of a cylindrical body 2. Then, a plurality of protective chips 5 wherein its one end part approaches or is bonded to the diamond chip 4, extends in a longitudinal direction of the body along an outer peripheral surface of the body from the opening end part side of the body 2, and projects to an inner peripheral surface side of the body 2 by at least the same thickness as that of the diamond chip 4, are arranged at specific intervals in a peripheral direction of the body 2.
