SKINNING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skinning apparatus capable of easily peeling the skin of a slaughtered animal such as cow and improving the efficiency of skinning work. SOLUTION: A slaughtered body placed at the upstream side of a conveyor belt 4 based on the transportation direction is lifted and transported toward the downstream side with the conveyor belt 4. The body is gradually lifted according to the transportation with the conveyor belt 4. The skin of the body transported by the conveyor belt 4 is positioned above the outer circumference of a side roller 10 and a tension is applied to the skin in the rotating direction of the side roller 10 when the skin placed on the side roller 10 is pressed by an operator. When the tip point of a tool such as a knife is thrust between the surface skin and the fascias while keeping the above state, the skin is easily peeled from the slaughtered body. The skin of the body is gradually peeled from the belly part through the flank part to the back part according to the transportation of the body with the conveyor belt 4.
