SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING CONTINUOUS DATA BASE ACCESS BY USING COMMON USE REDUNDANT COPY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide continuous data base service and scalable inquiry performance through the use of common-use redundant copy by managing the copy of a computer system in a redundant group and a data base schemer in a computer system section. SOLUTION: The respective copies of a data base 204 follow computer system sections (CSP) 202. A redundant group 104 is the set of CSP 202 forming an active redundant system on specified work quantity in common by using a single copied data base 204. One of computer systems 100A-100D receives the direct update of the data base 204 through a network 102 and transmits or copies update to the remaining computer systems 100A-100D. When the computer system 100B cannot be used, for example, the responsibility of the copy of the data base and update is shifted to the different computer.
