PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for an electronic desk-top computer and electronic desk-top computer capable of efficiently displaying a symbol with a few signal lines and for suppressing the large size of a device or the increase of manufacturing costs, and computer readable recording medium for recording the display control program of the electronic desk-top computer. SOLUTION: A common signal line H2 (CO2) is connected with a symbol electrode 26, common signal line H3 (CO1) is connected with symbol electrodes 25 and 27, segment signal line A14 (SE14) is connected with symbol electrodes 25 and 26, and segment signal line S5 (SE2) is connected with the symbol electrode 27. The symbol electrodes 25-27 are combined so that display symbols in three states, that is, 'tax included', 'tax excluded', and 'tax' can be displayed. Thus, the arrangement space of the display electrodes or the number of the common and segment signal lines can be reduced, and the display device can be miniaturized, and manufacturing costs can be reduced by commonly using the symbol electrode 25.
