Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive nuclear fusion reactor. SOLUTION: Molecules 2 containing nuclei that cause nuclear fusion reactions, e.g. heavy hydrogen molecules or lithium hydride molecules, are stored inside or absorbed to the surface of a dielectric 1. The Coulomb barriers of the nuclei present within the molecules 2 are reduced by the field screening effect of the polarization charge of the dielectric 1, whereby intramolecular nuclear fusion reactivity can be enhanced and the nuclear fusion reactions caused by the nuclei within the molecules 2 can be continuously brought about even in a low-temperature environment such as room temperature. |
