EARTHQUAKE-ISOLATED BASE FOR STRONG BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the base isolation of a strong box by arranging an upper base on a lower base in the state where it can be relatively moved for the lower base put on a floor face in the horizontal direction, and providing a leg receiving base attached to the leg of the strong box on the upper base in horizontal slippage impossibility. SOLUTION: An upper base is provided with a pair of horizontal leg receiving parts 9 fitted on the leg 4 of a strong box from downward and a connection member 10 for connecting the leg receiving part 9. A lower base 5 and an upper base 6 arranged on both the right and left side parts are horizontally relatively moved by a base isolated roller 16 while they are guided by a guide roller and the connection member 10, and the end plate 10a of the connection member 10 collides with the end of a guide member to regulate the relatively moving stroke of the upper base and the lower base 5. At first, a stopper 29 is fitted to the leg 4 to press a wheel shaft 32 by two side plates from upward. The upper base is arranged on the lower base 5, after the connection member 10 is fitted to the guide member, the leg 4 is inserted in the leg receiving member 9, and the leg receiving member 9 and the stopper 29 are fixed by bolts 30. The strong box is made horizontal slippage impossibility for the upper base, and base isolation can be performed without opening a hole on the strong box.
