Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transport building materials when executing erection works and easily execute replacement works by providing an effective transportation means instead of a crane or a temporary elevator. SOLUTION: This lift device is provided with a mast 2 having a length extending to a plurality of floors, holding tools 9 fixed to slabs 2 of a building frame to hold the mast, a carrier bed 3 moving up and down while being guided, a driving mechanism 15 moving up and down the carrier base while getting a reactive force from the mast, and a connection tool 18 connecting the driving mechanism to the building frame. The driving mechanism gets a reactive force from the building frame to stretch the mast for replacement. The driving mechanism is connected to the building frame by the connecting tool. The holding tool is fixed to the building frame so as to be replaceable to other positions. A guide roller 13 guiding the stretching motion of the mast is provided in the holding tool.
