CABINET FOR TELEPHONE SET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a table for a memo stand during a speech by engaging a notch part with a table stopper so as to lock a table to an extracted position when a door is open and retracting the table to a cabinet main body automatically when the door is closed. SOLUTION: When a door of a cabinet is open to use a telephone set and a slide table 18 is extracted, a side wall face of a notch part 28a of a stopper lever 28 is pushed onto a side wall face of a table stopper 22 at a prescribed force. Even when a hand is detached from the slide table 18 that is extracted through a contact friction force between the table stopper 22 and the notch part 28a, the slide table 18 will not be returned back. When the door of a cabinet main body is closed at the end of a speech, the engagement between the table stopper 22 and the notch part 28a is released and the slide table 18 having been so far extracted and locked slides down by its self-weight to the depth of the cabinet main body along slope pieces 24 to the left and right of a bottom plate 20 with a prescribed tilt angle θ and is automatically contained in the cabinet main body.
