Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, easy-to-fit electric connector assembly requiring a low inserting/drawout force capable of being locked by fitting obliquely and turning and provide an electric connector to be used in the connector assembly. SOLUTION: An electric connector assembly (1) includes connectors 2 and 300, wherein the connector 2 is composed of a terminal 70 having an abutting part 82, a guide groove 36 inclined to a recess in a fit part 9, and a lock shoulder 38 continued to guide groove (36). The lock shoulder 38 has a slope. The other connector 300 is composed of a probe pin 170 abutting to the part 82 and a protrusive streak 110 guided by the groove 36. The tail of the protrusive streak 110 forms a locking shoulder 110a having a slope corresponding to the slope on the lock shoulder 38. The connector 300 is fitted to the connector 2 aslant so that the protrusive streak 110 is guided by the guide groove 36, and then turned in the direction of Arrow B, and if the finger(s) is put off, the connector 300 is biased upward by the resilient repulsive force of the probe pin 170 so that the lock shoulder 38 is engaged with the locking shoulder 110a to establish locking.
