Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal pipe connected body for expanding a pipe which facilitates the inserting work of a pipe expanding tool without being broken or deformed when subjected to pipe expansion and has little danger of igniting a flammable gas even at pipe expanding work for an oil well. SOLUTION: Metal pipes 32 having a uniform inner diameter are connected in sequence to form a basic connected body 30a, and a terminal metal pipe 34 having the inner diameter d1, which is larger than the inner diameter d0 at the center section, near a nonconnection end 34a in advance is connected to the terminal of the basic connected body 30a to form a metal pipe connected body 30 for expanding a pipe. The inner diameter of the nonconnection end 34a of the terminal metal pipe 34 is preferably set to the outer diameter or above of a mandrel for expanding the inner diameter of a the metal pipe connected body 30 for expanding a pipe to a uniform size, or a terminal metal pipe 44 fitted with a flange 46 to a nonconnection end 44a in advance may be connected to the terminal of metal pipe connected body 40 for expanding a pipe.
