Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a nano-composite material of a vinyl polymer compound wherein a lamellar clay is uniformly dispersed. SOLUTION: The objective preparation process comprises steps wherein (a) a lamellar silicate clay is provided, which is subjected to organification and swelling using a surfactant, (b) the lamellar silicate clay is subjected to an organofunctionalization/swelling treatment using a silane coupling agent, (c) the lamellar silicate clay after the organofunctionalization/swelling treatment is dispersed in a vinyl monomer and heated in the presence of a catalyst to induce polymerization and (d) after the conversion of the polymerization reaction has reached from 10 to 50%, a suspension is added to induce suspension polymerization to form a nano-composite material wherein granules are uniformly dispersed.
