Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cyclic alcohol at a high reactional rate and a resultantly improved rate of reaction. SOLUTION: A cycloalkane having 9-16 carbon atoms and boric acid in an amount of 0.2-5 mass % based on the cycloalkane are charged and the boric acid in an amount so as to provide (1:0.6) to (1:1.7) molar ratio of the formed cyclic alcohol to the boric acid at the completion of the reaction are metered and fed during the reaction in a method for oxidizing the cycloalkane into the cyclic alcohol in the presence of the boric acid using an oxygen-containing gas. Furthermore, the reaction is conducted in the presence of 0.05-5 mass % of cobalt (II) based on the essentially used cycloalkane. |
