SOLUTION: This modular counter top 10 has at least a first longitudinally extended counter top component 12 and a second longitudinally extended counter top component 16. The first longitudinally extended counter top component 12 comprises a first connecting member 30, and the second longitudinally extended counter top component 16 comprises a second connecting member 32. When the first connecting member 30 and the second connecting member 32 are correctly jointed to each other, the first counter top component 12 and the second counter top component 16 are selectively and firmly connected to each other.
