Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed lead-acid battery free from the fusion of internal parts such as an electrode pole and an electrode plate even in the case of shortcircuiting across the terminals of positive and negative electrodes. SOLUTION: This sealed lead-acid battery has Faston terminals 10 and 11 made of a pair of brass plates buried in a lid 2, with each one end of 10a and 11a of the terminals 10 and 11 connected to each forward end of electrode poles 14 and 15 erected from an electrode group housed in a battery jar 1. The Faston terminals 10 and 11 have fusing parts 10d and 11d of smaller sectional area than other parts between one ends 10a and 11a and other ends 10b and 11b. The fusion parts 10d and 11d are made to be fused before an electrode pole or an electrode group is fused due to a shortcircuit current between the terminals 10 and 11. |
