SOLUTION: This device is provided with a recognition means 67 which recognizes the total number of pages put on the specific parts of documents fed by an automatic document feed means, and an image-process control part 71 which exerts control so that time required for an image forming operation is calculated based on a document size detected by a document-size detection means, the number of documents recognized by the recognition means, the number of image forming parts inputted by an input part, and a transfer-paper size and the calculated required-time is shown on a display part.
